Thank you for the opportunity to introduce our company to you. Abel Construction was formed in 1972 by E. B. Abel, Jr., operating under the name of E. B. Abel Construction Co., Inc. At that time, the company was involved in various small projects in the York County, PA area. Since our inception, we’ve grown to offer a much broader range of construction services, working in both the public and private sectors throughout Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. Abel Construction is proud to have several fine facilities from which to operate. Our main office located in Mountville, Pennsylvania allows our staff of clerical, accounting, personnel administration, and project management employees to work in a professional working environment insulated from, but in constant communication with our field operations.
Our field operations facility, located just across the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville, houses a self-sufficient maintenance and dispatch operation. We take great pride in our fleet of equipment and this facility plays a major role in our overall maintenance program.
